What does a typical day to day look like?

• Operating a forklift;
• Tug running freight to and from an aircraft; 
• Breakdown of Cargo on arrival in Sydney; 
• Building cargo up for a flight ready for international departure. 

We are a shift work environment with an operation that runs 24/7.

• Morning shifts, commence between 0400 - 0800 
• Afternoon/Evening shifts, commence between midday and 1800
• All shifts are a minimum of 4 hours, however generally 6-8 hour shifts 

Penalties & Loading: 

• 15% Loading (AM and PM shifts / Monday - Friday) 
• 22.5% Loading (Early AM or post midnight completion / Monday - Friday) 
• 150% Saturday
• 200% Sunday 
• 200% for all overtime

The Passenger Service Delivery Agent is responsible for working in a team environment to ensure timely, efficient, professional and safe passenger service functions of check-ins for passenger handling and gate agent duties while ensuring all regulatory requirements are met. Also responsible for the efficient, safe and accurate adherence to the clients’ requirements during an aircraft turnaround and achieving required KPIs for our clients.

  Most shifts are 4 hours in length on a 7-day rotating roster.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of customer service for all client airlines and ensure all customer service requirements are met in a timely, efficient and professional manner, at all times.
• Carry out passenger check in duties and other duties commensurate with the passenger service for customer airlines.
• Ensure that necessary paperwork is completed on time and that all reporting is completed as per service delivery agreements and company requirements.
• Assisting passengers;
  • during disrupted or delayed services;
  • who require special assistance such as wheelchair assistance to and from aircrafts.
• Ensure compliance with OH & S Regulations and Company OH & S Policies to ensure safety of passengers and other employees; taking corrective action where required.
• To report any incidents immediately and maintain awareness and obligations involved in reporting incidents.
• Ensure all procedures are carried out within the regulations as set out by the individual requirements of client airlines.
• Build strong working relationships with all dnata Airport Services team member and client airline employees / delegates.
• Promote and maintain a positive company image (including grooming, behaviours and service).
• Lead and participate as a team member to ensure work and company requirements are communicated accurate and in good time.
• Follow direction during shift to achieve required timely aircraft scheduled departures (100% On Time Performance).

What You’ll Be Doing:

  What we’re looking for

You’ll be a passionate and adaptable Chef who takes pride in delivering quality food and exceptional standards. You’ll be comfortable working in a busy, customer-focused environment and able to balance creativity with consistency, efficiency and food safety.

You’ll bring:

• Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation
• Proven experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, hotel, catering or similar environment.

Our Mishandled Baggage team is responsible for tracing and locating mishandled bags for a number of international carrier clients. They are also responsible for reporting on damaged bags directly back to the airline. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Being the first point of contact for passengers at the carousel

• Recording rush bags received

The Load Controllers are responsible for performing all load control and flight functions on a shift by shift, flight by flight basis.

• Responsible for the effective planning and preparation of all system and manual weight & balance documentation

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• High level computer skills; including Microsoft Excel and Word

• Minimum of 3 years ground handling experience
• Knowledge of Aviation legislation, specifically flight planning, weather, NOTAM and Load Control Legislation

Load Controller

The main responsibility of a Load Controller is to calculate the weight and balance of the aircraft. This is done by ensuring limitations are observed and followed for a safe operation. Load Instruction/Report is completed in line with dangerous goods segregation and preparing the Load sheet for the Pilot indicating the weight and balance figures for the flight.

CLC (Centralised Load Control) Coordinator

The main responsibility for a Centralised Load Control (CLC) Coordinator is to coordinate with our client carrier’s load controllers at their centralised operation centre. Since the Load sheets for these carriers are produced externally, the CLC Coordinator will be required to work closely with the load controller at CLC throughout the flight, providing information such as dead load statements, NOTOC and fuel figures from the Captain. OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the management of end-to-end dnata Ground Services and Ramp Services for our clients to ensure an efficient and effective service meeting and exceeding the company’s and our clients’ expectations.

The Service Delivery Manager - Ramp will manage simultaneous complex and multi-dimensional business issues with competing demands within an environment of sensitivities, constraints and competing stakeholder priorities.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development and delivery of a client centric, commercially focused operations including the management, organisation and coordination of all work areas during day of operations and the management, monitoring and evaluation of Ground Handling Agreements and Service Level Agreements
• Lead, manage and develop team members including coaching and mentoring and performance feedback to achieve high levels of performance and service excellence
• Lead significant stakeholder engagement and consultation to ensure the delivery of a wide range of stakeholder expectations, diverse interests and demands
• In consultation with the management team develop, implement and monitor communication plans, business strategy to drive a customer centric culture
• Develop, implement and control effective rosters and budget management to ensure highly effective, cost efficient and quality business outcomes
• Develop, implement and monitor business processes and standard operating procedures ensuring compliance to industry standards, legislation and dnata Airport Services’ policy and procedure
• Develop and provide quality metrics and reporting on critical business issues
• Lead and embed a positive safety culture within the team focussed on awareness and vigilance

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Must be available to work on a 24/7 rotating roster 
• Extensive leadership experience with customer centric orientation and ability to drive a service culture
• Highly developed communication skills both written and oral and excellent presentation skills
• Demonstrated record of achievement in building and fostering relationships with key stakeholders and clients
• Extensive experience in engaging and influencing staff to ensure the delivery of a wide range of stakeholder expectations, diverse interests and demands
• Previous extensive experience in a highly controlled and regulated industry with the ability to lead, translate, implement and manage ongoing compliance, industry standards and legislative requirements
• Demonstrated business acumen including, financial and budget management and experience in driving culture change and continuous business improvement.

Working closely with the National Training team and local Management and Service Delivery Supervisor Team, this role will ensure that training is facilitated and organised as per business and client airline requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will provide an opportunity for the successful applicant to gain and apply knowledge, skills and experience to perform the following duties:

• Train colleagues in an efficient and cost-effective way;
• Liaise with specialist and clients to ensure relevant training and administration resources as used and updated where required;
• Assist the training team to report on training compliance, expiries and recurrence requirements;
• Assist the training team to complete sign-off processes and ensure all applicable team members meet company standards;
• Provide feedback, mentoring and support to buddy’s and SME’s
• Accountable person for completing paperwork and entering into VETrack
• Assist with training document control and document review
• Assist other ports with data entry, as required.
• Assist training department with any ad hoc duties

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• VETrak experience essential
• Currently or willing to be signed off on numerous Passenger Services Functions including: PAX Assist, Check-in and Delta/Gate Supervisor
• High level of computer literacy and sound knowledge of training management systems.
• Well-developed communication skills both written and oral and negotiation skills;
• Sound understanding of the Australian Quality Training Framework and knowledge of all aspects of VET and RTO quality frameworks;

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience in or knowledge of airline industry principles and procedures.
