What does a typical day to day look like?

• Morning shifts, commence between 0400 - 0800

• 15% Loading (AM and PM shifts / Monday - Friday) 
• 22.5% Loading (Early AM or post midnight completion / Monday - Friday) 
• 150% Saturday
• 200% Sunday 
• 200% for all overtime

The Passenger Service Delivery Agent is responsible for working in a team environment to ensure timely, efficient, professional and safe passenger service functions of check-ins for passenger handling and gate agent duties while ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.   Most shifts are 4 hours in length on a 7-day rotating roster.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of customer service for all client airlines and ensure all customer service requirements are met in a timely, efficient and professional manner, at all times.
• Carry out passenger check in duties and other duties commensurate with the passenger service for customer airlines.
• Ensure that necessary paperwork is completed on time and that all reporting is completed as per service delivery agreements and company requirements.
• Assisting passengers;
  • during disrupted or delayed services;
  • who require special assistance such as wheelchair assistance to and from aircrafts.
• Ensure compliance with OH & S Regulations and Company OH & S Policies to ensure safety of passengers and other employees; taking corrective action where required.
• To report any incidents immediately and maintain awareness and obligations involved in reporting incidents.
• Ensure all procedures are carried out within the regulations as set out by the individual requirements of client airlines.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from team members interested in the position, Commercial Manager. The Commercial Manager is responsible for managing dnata’s commercial program – including new business and renewal proposals, the sales pipeline, commercial yield improvement and the commercial reporting function.

Position Overview

The Commercial Manager will manage complex tendering and contractual arrangements, will be a key stakeholder in commercial negotiations and will produce recommendations that achieve service and financial outcomes.

It will also involve contract management and the management of client relations to ensure efficient and effective service meeting and exceeding the company’s and our clients’ expectations.

Primary duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain dnata’s sales pipeline (new business and renewal)
• Develop and manage dnata’s RFP program; Owner of dnata’s RFP and proposal submission
• Develop proposals that are relevant to the customer’s needs, concerns and objectives, ensuring they are presented in professional manner and in line with corporate policy
• Contribute to the development and achievement of dnata’s commercial strategy and in consultation with the management team develop, implement and monitor communication plans
• Negotiate Standard Ground Handling Agreements and Service Level Agreements including rates and service level targets
• Maintain dnata’s customer engagement program
• Stakeholder in the development and management of marketing collateral program
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with current & potential customers, and third party subcontractors
• Implement customer rate reviews and communicate rate changes to the dnata finance team
• Liaise with customers to resolve accounting queries
• Develop commercial reporting program

They are also responsible for reporting on damaged bags directly back to the airline. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Being the first point of contact for passengers at the carousel
• Checking the loading details of passengers

• Recording rush bags received
• Reporting issues to the Baggage Services Supervisors

Load Controller

The main responsibility of a Load Controller is to calculate the weight and balance of the aircraft. This is done by ensuring limitations are observed and followed for a safe operation. Load Instruction/Report is completed in line with dangerous goods segregation and preparing the Load sheet for the Pilot indicating the weight and balance figures for the flight.

CLC (Centralised Load Control) Coordinator

The main responsibility for a Centralised Load Control (CLC) Coordinator is to coordinate with our client carrier’s load controllers at their centralised operation centre. Since the Load sheets for these carriers are produced externally, the CLC Coordinator will be required to work closely with the load controller at CLC throughout the flight, providing information such as dead load statements, NOTOC and fuel figures from the Captain. The thorough review of the load controller’s documents is also the responsibility of a CLC Coordinator.
