We are seeking Ramp & Baggage Agents to join our awesome Brisbane Operations team based in Brisbane Airport. We are currently recruiting for casual opportunities, with the potential to transition into a part-time role.

• Most shifts are between 6:00am - 12:00pm and 5:00am - 1:00pm on a 7 day rotating roster.
• Minimum of 4 hour shifts
• Approx. 15 hours per week with the ability to pick up more hours

A few of the key responsibilities for a Ramp & Baggage agent are;

• Baggage management
• Ability to lift 23kgs
• Hands on capacity handling a range of duties
• Opportunity to progress in Ramp duties:
  
  • Assist with the movement of Ground Services Equipment e.g. aircraft stairs, mobile conveyors, tugs, belt loaders etc;
  • Assist with the marshalling of arriving aircraft in accordance;
  • Assist with safe and timely Aircraft push back and towing activities, driving and operating diverse Pushback tractors both conventional and Tow-bar-less types

Working for dnata at the airport there are a few must haves for you to be successful:

• You need to have Australian / New Zealand citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Working Visa.
• You must be willing to undertake a Pre-employment medical test
• You must be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police Security check
• You will also need for some of the roles a valid driver’s license 
• Basic – Intermediate computer skills
• Excellent communication skills – Verbal and Written
• High level of customer service skills
• Available to work on a rotating roster
• 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role (desirable)
