Training Administrator
Melbourne Airport, VIC

The Training Administrator role is responsible for providing ongoing administrative support to the Ramp training department. Working closely with the training team, this role will ensure that information entered in the training system is accurate with a high level of attention to detail.

 

Key Responsibilities of the role include; but not limited to:

  • Enter and update data into training data base
  • Generate training reports
  • Prepare training materials and resources;
  • Manage training room bookings and associated training resources
  • Assist with training document control / review /archiving and filing
  • Assist with travel arrangements to support training initiatives
  • Assist other ports with data entry, as required
  • Other duties as directed by training manager

Essential Criteria to be considered for this role:

  • High level of computer literacy and sound knowledge of training management and Airlines LM Systems
  • Well-developed communication skills both written and oral and negotiation skills;
  • Previous experience in or knowledge of airline industry principles and procedures. (desirable)
  • Have ramp experience with the below minimum Level 3 accreditations or wiliness to achieve sign off's for these accreditations:
    • Ramp Essentials
    • Aircraft Cargo Doors
    • Ramp Tug
    • MEL airport Aerobridge GPU
    • dnata Towbar 
    • Wing Walker
  • Maintain all licenses, accreditations and qualifications including MEL Airport ADA

WH & S Responsibilities

  • Comply with the dnata OHS Policy and related Group Policies
  • Comply with legislative OH & S requirements
  • Develop and maintain a positive safety culture focused on awareness and vigilance.
  • Conduct work in accordance with dnata’s OH & S Management System and customer OH & S requirements
  • Follow all safety work procedures, adhering to all safety guidelines provided
  • When applicable wear the required personal protective clothing and equipment
