dnata is one of the most recognised ground services companies in the world and we are currently recruiting for the position of Allocator.

 

Successful candidates will receive the relevant level of training to fulfil the role and meet set expectations and objectives. The Allocator role will be on a rotating roster, operating seven (7) days a week.

 

Position Overview;

  • Determining and obtaining aircraft resource and updating worksheets according to airlines SLA’s/ tasks;
  • Actioning and covering sick calls, personal leave etc. which is advised to you by the SDS or SDM;
  • Determining and allocating available shifts through a fair and transparent process whilst adhering to all budgets and financial demands;
  • Actioning and updating all shift swaps as per standard operating procedures;
  • Preparing an accurately completed worksheet/crew sheets for the SDS/SDM to utilise on shift;
  • Be willing to undertake training and work with new systems implemented into the business;
  • Manage staff allocation for disruptions and delays;
  • Handle and maintain staff and business confidentiality.

 

Selection Criteria;

  • Well-developed customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated capability to work in a team environment;
  • Knowledge of and vast understanding of our business including Service Level Agreements;
  • Sound knowledge computer skills including MS word and advanced level Excel;
  • The ability to work unsupervised and follow procedures.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Punctuality and reliability in attendance at work;
  • Ability to adhere to safety and security requirements applicable to the aviation industry;
  • Commitment to dnata’s business direction and principles; Integrity and professionalism;
  • Ability to work to strict time frames.
