Recruitment Coordinator

We are looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our National Team. Recruitment surrounds the frontline Passenger Services, Cargo Operations and Ramp and Baggage roles.

 

This position will be responsible for the coordination of the recruitment and ensure the best possible experience for our candidates. This role assists the HR Team and department managers in coordinating the end to end recruitment process. You will be a vital part of our recruitment team and supporting our team in various tasks, most importantly ensuring compliance with onboarding of candidates and documentation.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Providing recruitment support to managers including advertising, drafting interview questions, shortlisting applicants, interviews/recruitment days, reference checking and any other pre-employment requirements;
  • Ensure 100% compliance with relevant checks i.e. reference checks, pre-employment medical and security checks, probationary reviews etc.;
  • Maintenance of all recruitment records including but not limited to recruitment approvals, maintenance of candidate records; and employment contracts;
  • Administer new starter process and prepare employment contracts based on the role
  • Coordination of ‘New Starter’ on-boarding requirements and assisting with employee induction;
  • Assist line managers in the development of position descriptions in conjunction with the HR team;
  • Development, maintenance and continuous improvement of recruitment procedures and related documents as needed;
  • Work towards creating a pro-active service culture and thrive to continuously improve HR processes;
  • Conducts exit interviews, where necessary;

 

Essential Criteria

  • Conducting background checks including references, work right checks, police checks
  • Initial phone screening, sourcing, and candidate placement
  • Compliance processing - Online registration and safety inductions and policies
  • Understanding current and forecasted workforce needs to support leaders with ensuring adequate resourcing
  • General admin duties, including data entry and updating our recruitment data base.
  • Booking appointments for functional assessments and medicals
  • High attention to detail
  • A dedicated, self-motivated person who shows initiative
  • Ability to multitask
  • Recruitment experience highly advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach

 

Desirable Criteria 

  • HR experience with a focus on recruitment and onboarding;
  • Experience is key for us!
  • Ability to travel to other dnata locations
