Our sister company, Cabin Services Australia have an exciting opportunity for a Station Manager to join the team on a fulltime basis.

 

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the port while ensuring all areas are operating successfully, team goals and objectives are met while key stake-holder relationships are well maintained.

 

Key Duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and develop team members including coaching and mentoring and performance feedback to achieve high levels of performance and service excellence
  • Monitor business processes and standard operating procedures ensuring compliance to industry standards, legislation and Cabin Services Australia policy and procedure
  • Planning and resourcing the operation to deliver optimal efficiencies
  • Ensure the team are delivering quality, on time service
  • Ensure the safe and secure operation of all equipment
  • Liaising with Airline contacts and customers and proactively managing all operational issues
  • Driving a culture of complete accountability, fairness and zero tolerance for bullying, harassment and discrimination across all facets of the operation
  • Conducting staff training e.g. induction, WHS training, staff appraisals at regular intervals
  • Coach and develop direct reports and actively manage their performance
  • Ensure staff adherence to company policies, client and regulatory procedures and policies
  • Handle escalated staff grievances, investigations 
  • Recognise and reward the team for good performance including facilitating team events

 To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have previous aviation/airport management experience
  • Be a proactive leader who can demonstrate the ability to problem solve, make decisions and effectively lead a large team
  • Be results orientated
  • Have excellent communication, presentation and written skills
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities
  • Have proven ability to plan, organise, execute and deliver KPI’s
  • Have the ability to obtain an ASIC and Airside Driver’s License
