We are currently recruiting for our Cargo offsite facility located on Botany Road, Banksmeadow on a Permanent Part time basis. This facility has free on site parking and is minutes away from the M5 motorway.

Some of the key responsibilities of a Cargo Agent (but not limited to):

• Forklift driving
• Loading and unloading of cargo in a safe and efficient manner;
• Safely operate forklifts as required
• Accurate data entry and processing of import/export information utilising the dnata operating systems;
• Correct processing of all cargo handling documentation;
• Perform cargo handling duties using automated cargo handling system, packing/unpacking ULD's and loose cargo, as directed

Working for dnata there are a few must haves for you to be successful:

• You need to have Australian / New Zealand citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency
• You must be willing to undertake a Pre-employment medical test
• You must be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police Security check
• Current Valid Driver's License
• Current Forklift License or must be willing to obtain one
• Basic - Intermediate computer skills
• Excellent communication skills – Verbal and Written
• Excellent team player with a positive/can-do attitude;
• Reliable, trustworthy and has the ability to work independently
• Available to work on a rotating roster

What you will receive as an employee:

Pay Grade:

$28.43 per hour + 11.5% superannuation + penalties

• 15% if you start your shift before 7am and finish after 6pm
  • Base Rate + Loadings: $32.69
• 22.5% if you start your shift before 4am and finish after 12am
  • Base Rate + Loadings: $34.83
• 150% flat rate all day on Saturday
  • Base Rate + Loadings: $42.64
• 200% flat rate all day on Sunday, Public Holidays and Overtime
  
  • Base Rate + Loadings: $56.86
• 200% Loading for all part-time employees working outside their rostered hours.
  • Base Rate + Loadings: $56.86
