We are currently seeking a Training Coordinator – Ramp within our dnata Perth Team to support the delivery, coordination, and continuous improvement of ramp training programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our ramp operations meet safety, compliance, and performance standards while supporting the development of our frontline teams. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Training Coordinator is responsible for the management and conduct of training and assessment to ensure that training is planned, prepared, delivered, and ensuring consistency of training content and delivery throughout the dnata network in a cost-effective manner. The Training Coordinator will manage a program of training through a combination of administrative, classroom-based, on the job training, and operational functions ensuring compliance with industry standards and the requirements in the VET (Vocational Education and Training) Quality Framework for Registered Training Organisations (RTO). PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Oversee the delivery of a customer centric training and development operation including the supervision, organisation and coordination of all training programs, orientation, induction, staff competency training.
- Evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of training programs consistent with industry standards.
- Manage on-the-job team coaching, mentoring and performance feedback to achieve high levels of performance and service excellence.
- Perform regular audits to ensure the consistent application of approved programmes, maintenance of training records and ongoing adherence to the Standards for VET & RTO requirements.
- Lead significant stakeholder engagement and consultation to ensure the delivery of a wide range of stakeholder expectations, diverse interests and demands.
- Develop curriculum, course content and delivery methodology ensuring compliance to industry standards, regulations, legislation and dnata Airport Services’ policy and procedure.
- Monitor the quality of training preparation, delivery, and assessment of all courses conducted working closely with Training Specialists/Subject Matter Experts and the Training Manager
To be successful you will: - Demonstrated leadership experience and a commitment to driving a customer centric service culture within the team.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of competency-based training and assessment, including the ability to plan, manage and implement training solutions.
- Highly developed communication skills both written and oral and negotiation skills.
- Achievement in building and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to design, facilitate and implement a variety of training programs including a thorough knowledge of all aspects of VET and RTO quality frameworks.
- Sound understanding of program evaluation techniques and adult learning principles.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) or willingness to attain within an agreed period.
- Have a full Driver’s Licence
- Willing to complete a full pre-employment medical/Drug and Alcohol testing along with a satisfactory security clearance (ASIC)
