dnata is one of the world's largest air services providers offering ground handling, cargo, travel and flight catering services across five continents.

 

Our Airport Services (Ground Handling and Cargo) division is currently on the look out for a highly motivated, outcomes focused Quality Assurance Manager with strong organisation skills and prior aviation experience to join our ever growing team. 

 

The focus of this role will be to explore and ensure the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the dnata Quality Management System/framework aswell as ensuring our ongoing ISAGO certification for all applicable dnata Ports including dnata Head Quarters (HQ) Australia. 

 

A day in the life:

  • Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the dnata Quality Management System/framework within Australia.
  • Lead the development and implementation of prerequisite programs to support the company's management systems to meet and exceed all regulatory requirements i.e. ISO 9001 & ISAGO.
  • Develop, manage and maintain the dnata Audit Schedule and ensure all internal and external audits are completed in accordance with the schedule.
  • Maintaining controls and documentation procedures and the management of the documentation system;
  • Train and educate staff where required in order to ensure compliance with the ISAGO and quality management programs;
  • Identification of root cause analysis of quality non-conformance and corrective action system
  • In conjunction with key stakeholders develop more robust Quality Systems of Work to prevent recurrence of failures and system issues

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

  • Ideally have 3 - 5 years direct experience in compliance or a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in leading quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC) and ISO 9000-based Quality Management Systems.            
  • Extensive experience in Quality Management System Lead Audit roles
  • Proven ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
  • Demonstrated problem solving, conflict resolution skills and negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence in a diverse workforce through a practical pragmatic approach
  • Experience in monitoring and reviewing existing processes and procedures and implementing changes to improve operational efficiencies
  • Knowledge of problem solving methodologies
  • High level proficiency MS Office Suite
