Assistant Station Manager - SYD Airport

Our sister company Cabin Services Australia is Australia’s leading provider in cabin cleaning and ancillary services in the aviation industry across Australia. We service over 50 International and Domestic airlines with more than 500 flights per day and ensure the passenger experience is our number one priority while providing on-time service at the highest possible standard.

 

An exciting and rare opportunity now exists for an Assistant Station Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Station Manager, the role is responsible for managing the overseeing the operation and ensuring all areas are operating effectively and to ensure team goals and objectives are met.

 

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Assist the Station Manager in planning and implementing strategies to manage our customers
  • Assist with coordinating daily operations 
  • Monitor operating costs, budgets and resources with a particular focus on man hours
  • Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
  • Monitor and oversee operational inventories and be responsible for ensuring staff have access to and use correct equipment in accordance with SOP’s
  • Oversee GSE and fleet requirements in accordance with all state, federal and local airport requirements 
  • Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs inclusive of new training requirements 
  • Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best
  • Coach and support new and existing staff
  • Handle complaints from customers and staff as required
