A day in the life To deliver exceptional services for our employees focusing on the employee lifecycle at work from onboarding through to facilitating employee changes to the end of employment process. The People & Culture Administrator is also responsible for the environment that they work in managing the space and general admin tasks. This role is the first point of contact for employees & management throughout their journey at dnata. They will be the first line of contact and connect employees to the right people in order to facilitate the right outcome. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Working closely with the P&C Business Partners, providing exceptional support to employees and managers with day-to-day queries
- Maintenance of all employee records within HRIS (Zambion) i.e. change in personal detail, pay details changes
- System expert the point of contact for system queries and raising tickets with payroll (Payroll discrepancies) – This role will need access to pay slips – This is crucial to supporting employee queries
- Support in daily time sheet checks and manual entries
- Assist local managers when they have new starters and ensure all requirements are met prior to onboarding and liaise with all key stakeholders
- Drafting letter employment contracts and other formal documents
- Ensure compliance prior to onboarding i.e. reference checks, pre-employment medical and security checks, I.T (Laptop, mobile phone)
- Work towards creating a pro-active service culture and thrive to continuously improve the employee experience
- Assist the business with various initiatives and people business improvement projects
To be successful in the role: - Tertiary qualification in HR or a related field (or working towards)
- Experienced in the quality delivery of a diverse range of generalist administration functions
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Ability to interpret awards, agreements and local frameworks
- Ability to communicate effectively & exercise discretion at all times
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and work independently achieve work objectives
- Ability to travel to other dnata locations, when required
