dnata is one of the world's largest air services providers offering ground handling, cargo, travel and flight catering services across five continents. Our Airport Services (Ground Handling and Cargo) division is currently on the look out for a Quality and Compliance Manager to join our team. The Quality and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements across all dnata airport operations. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and safety. Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the dnata Quality Management System/framework, in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and in harmonization with global dnata standards and systems.
- Maintain an effective audit program to drive continuous improvement, conducting risk-based audits and inspections to ensure all internal and external audits are completed in accordance with the schedule, and compliance with aviation regulations, company and customer policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and ISO and ISAGO accreditation requirements.
- Lead and support all business units in the preparation for and conduct of audits by external parties.
- Collaborate with Safety and cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement, in a timely manner.
- Monitor and analyse quality assurance performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective/ preventative actions
- Lead and manage the investigation of non-conformities/identified trends, in collaboration with Safety and other key stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures.
- Prepare and present reports on quality and compliance performance to senior management.
- Maintain the Document Management System and associated compliance requirements.
Essential Criteria - Minimum of 10 years of experience in safety/quality assurance, compliance, or a similar role, within the aviation industry
- Lead Auditor qualification, with extensive experience in Quality Management System Lead Audit roles
- In-depth knowledge of aviation Regulations, Standards, audit and safety/quality assurance best practices
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and safety, including timely and effective corrective and preventative actions implementation.
- Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- High level proficiency MS Office Suite.
- Tertiary qualification in Aviation Management, Quality Management, or a related field is desirable for the role.
