We're currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and producing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

A day in the life:

• Undertake review and analysis of monthly operating statements, including taking corrective action arising from data integrity issues
• Support the Financial Controller in the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements
• Facilitate the timely reconciliation of General Ledger accounts to assist in confirming the integrity of internal controls
• Support the preparation of annual accounts packages including preparation of work papers, reconciliation of accounts and respond to audit queries
• Provide sound advice and information to clients across the business on accounting practices, policies and statutory requirements.
• Work collaboratively to achieve team based deadlines, priorities, commitments and project outcomes.

To succeed in the role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a financial accounting role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards 
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Positive can do attitude and willingness to go above and beyond
• Experience with accounting software such as SAGE is an advantage
• Sense of humour and ability to be flexible (essential!!)
