Transformation Accountant

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

 

As a Finance Transformation Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our finance function through a journey of transformation. Your primary objective will be to facilitate our evolution into a strategic business partner, fostering growth and innovation within the organization.

Collaborating closely with key stakeholders such as the Finance Director, Controller, and FP&A Manager, you will offer insights, implement leading practices and drive impactful changes in our finance processes and technologies.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Review and optimize existing processes to align with our Corporate Governance Framework, "the dnata Way."
  • Enhance Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) processes and evaluate the maturity level of cost management.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in finance, supporting the integration of new technologies and conducting finance diagnostics and benchmarking.
  • Lead Finance Transformation engagements, advising on process enhancements and automation solutions.
  • Support growth initiatives including expansion projects and acquisitions.
  • Enhance management reporting frameworks and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to facilitate decision-making.

 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

 

  • Completion or progress towards a finance-related professional qualification (e.g., CPA).
  • 1-3 years of experience in Finance roles within large corporates or consulting sectors.
  • Strong communication, presentation and technical writing skills in English.
  • Proficiency in finance technology including ERP, Planning and Budgeting and Reporting/Visualisation systems.
  • Integrity, strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Consulting, Audit or Project Management experience preferred.
  • Aviation experience particularly in airport operations is advantageous.
